Mangoletsi are not independent they are a UK franchise dealer.
They are franchised, however they are not part of another organisation such as Pendragon, Sytner etc, etc.
They are Alfa UK, as I say the product is severely let down by the UK dealer net work.

And as I said, Alfa UK are working hard to address their problems and are having a major sort out of their dealers. The new one near me is excellent - Dews of Brighouse. And no, I don't work for them or Alfa UK.

The Ti pack – 17” Spoked Ti wheels, Leather upholstery, sport suspension, dark head lining, rear park assist, rear spoiler, mats, Ti sill trims and a badge on its bum.
The Ti is basically a Lusso with the above items added. The Ti we supply also has a Winter pack and a Comfort pack. Cruse control is standard on a Lusso so yes our Ti 147’s come with cruse.
The Ti was only available in 130 Alfa Red, 846 Metallic Black and 603 Novona Gray from Alfa UK and it is not possible to order with any other extras. We can order them in any colour and with any extras, I have one in stock with nearly every option including sat nav.
So these TIs that you offer - am I right in saying that they're grey imports, and not really the same car as a limited edition TI bought from a franchised dealer? Hi
I don’t work for an Alfa dealer, I own the largest independent supplier of new Alfa Romeo’s in the country. I am in no way linked to Alfa UK or ever will be. The Alfa Romeo product is fantastic; the UK dealer network is an embarrassment to the product.

A nice sweeping statement their, don't let the facts get in the way. Some dealers are excellent, Medway Alfa & SGT I'd happily give my business to. Medway Alfa were brilliant with my 156 & if Alfa did a diesel 166 then I'd have probably bought one of those instead of a Jaguar S-Type.

I can also recommend SGT FWIW. They`ve serviced three Alfa`s for me and have been absolutely fine.
We test drove the diesel today, not impressed, the car was great but that engine sounds terrible, what's with the turbo "whistle", wasn't even quick for 150bhp, 1st and 2nd are useless. Anyway, it's not put us off, probably just diesels aren't for use (I am true petrolhead with a supercharged BMW Z4 3.0).
Going back to test drive the 1.6 and 2.0, hopefully one of those will be suitable. I assume the 2.0 will be smoother and quicker, just worried about the cam belt issue I've read in a few places. On the other hand they have a gorgeous 1.6 Ti in stock, pre registered ready to go
Will keep you upto date. Looking forward to Sunday.

Hi
OK, I don’t have a problem with all the dealers, it is the sales staff I have a problem with, the things they say to our customers is quite unbelievable. We use Perry’s for all our warranty work and the service we receive is fantastic.

Hi guys,
Just a quick update. My partner chose a pre-registered 147 Ti 1.6. We got a really good deal and a very good trade in so smiles all round. She loves it, very comfy, the toys are nice and it looks stunning in red.
Only issue is the poor fuel consumption. It's averaging 26.8mpg, which is probably nearer 25mpg in real life. My supercharged BMW Z4 3.0 does about that. Is this figure likely to rise once it's run in? The car has only done 600 miles now and still feels quite tight, although does feel a bit quicker than when we first picked it up.
She also wants to get a CD Autochanger. Is it best to stick with the Alfa one or go for a thrid party changer, Sony etc ??
Thanks again for all your advise, she's over the moon.

Hi Jamieboy,
That's what we thought. Although she did get upto 32mpg but that was 160 miles on the motorway with the cruise control on a 75mph... surely this should be nearer 38/40mpg? When getting 26mpg she's not even in traffic....

Just make sure it is compatible with the head unit (Blaukpunt) and steering wheel controls.
May be easier sticking with an Alfa one just for that alone.

Quite poor would you not agree? I get around 36mpg at 80mph in my 370bhp Z4.... crazy..
Not great, but they quote 34.4 combined, so I guess we can't grumble. Both my 147`s have been crap on fuel. The first one was a 1.6 and was even worse that the 2.0. I suspect an unhappy combination of weight and leaden feet. I will admit that there is a significant difference depending upon whether my wife or I have been at the wheel.
