Thanks for the advice everyone, i've just bought a mint 52 plate lusso with 56k on it for £3400 and can't wait to pick it up once the MOT is done!

My only problem is that i need to get it taxed before easter and i can't see that the DVLA are going to get the documents in time for me to do it on the internet or that my insurace company are going to get me a cover note in time. Anyone got any suggestions? Would it be easiest to get the vendor to tax it for me and i'll give him the cash?

£3400.well done.i'm still looking.i don't know if i'm being too choosy because i've been looking for a couple of months now.i put a note on the windscreen of a black 1.9d '04 yesterday to see if the owner was selling it but no-one has phoned yet.
