Yep, its going.

I was originally only going to keep it very shortly as the car was taken in part ex and the business needed all the cash. After a cpl of weeks though I changed my mind and was intending on keeping her because its great fun The grip, poise and pure stance of the car is awesome, absolutely lives upto the Holy Grale legend.

Im selling for two reasons really. One...Ive lost a 2month running argument with my soon to be wife, in that basically she has no car taste and loathes the car. She keeps mumbling something about it being a chav car, I consider premature divorce for a few days.
Secondly...Ok, whilst in theory we still need the money to go into the business and that is what Im going to tell her as soon as I sell the car, I really really want a Griffith again and the money will buy exactly the one I want

Nervy will happily tell y'all what a good car this is and its mint condition. Trust me, he's *really* anal about these things, but he delivers a class car to its new owner.

Im not that sad over this. I can say Ive owned an Evo I 'Grale and one of the rarest of the lot. That puts a smile on my face that Ive been waiting 10+yrs for as a kid and the experience has lived upto the hype. All that's left on the Lancia front now is an S4 and blagging a drive of AD's baby Even Im not dumb enough to think Ill realise the D50 dream.

Nerv and I were both doing the same thing with our cars to be honest, both of us have new businesses that need investment and both of us have other halves who dont consider cars to be the most important things in life. If this particular Griffith hadnt come up for sale, I wouldnt let the 'Grale go.

i can tell you catagorically that the car is perfect, and not perfect in the way that people use the word in ads, perfect in the sense that if every fibre of my carpet doesnt line up it makes me want to start fires.

there is nothing dubious about the car being up for sale again, whatsoever. just as there is nothing dubious about the fact that im selling the sagaris. we both wanted something different, DJC needed the extra cash, and now other requirements take precedence. in my case, my balls not being cut off, in davids something else to race around in whilst hiding from his fiancee.

Yeah! We're both the Men in our houses! You tell em Nerv!

Ahem...er...sorry, I have to go to Dunelm Mills now to buy new bedding and then to Homebase for a cpl of potted plant, tree thingies

Baring in mind the last time I said I was selling a car, it actually took me about 9 months to actually put an ad up for the damn thing! That pissed her off enough, Im under rather stricter orders this time

I believe you both.. Thats why i added the smiley...

It does look great.. and in better condition than mine..

Funny that you say your wife thinks it looks a bit chavvy.. My GF says exactly the same.. She has nicknamed it Chavette... Obviously she has no concept of the illustrious rallying pedigree and fine Italian engineering..
She also moans about all the rattles... and the screeeching brakes.... and even the crappy door handles... women eh... theres no pleasing some of em..

Er...ahem! In true "DJC selling a car" style the time lapse between me "saying" Im selling it and actually bothering to get round to doing an advert, is er..."negotiable"!

I was meant to get the pics done this weekend and an ad written, but I kinda went for an early morning Sunday drive and forgot. I had to make up for my lack of popularity at home by spending Sunday afternoon caulking the skirting boards in the house and promising to give up beer from now till the wedding. Oh and absolutely, definately, spend no more money on cars. Ish
