1.8 8v t spark cam chain change?
Discussion
at what mileage does the cam chain on the 1.8 8v t spark engine need changing?
ive just got a 155 through the classifieds on here and although it drives great im slightly dubious about the miles it has covered and the lack of reciept for the work. the cars on 100k hence my concerns!
ive taken to driving my bravo again and forgoing the great chasis and extra oomph of the 155 for now
thanks in advance folks

My 155 2lt 8v was still happily running on the original chain at 150+ k miles..... my 75 with the same engine is currently on 132k miles on the original chain.
I have heard they can start to get a bit noisy above 150k miles, but I've also known of cars on 200+ k miles on the original chains.
