Looking good Henk!

What are you going engine-wise? Standard or unrated specs?

Suspension ?- I went with RSR for what it 's worth

Look forward to seeing more pictures

Thanks:

So far everything remains standard. The car is being finished in SA where parts are not readily available so I will wait until the car arrives and then decide on upgrades.

Assembly has started - will post another pic tomorrow when at work.

Mines's just squeaked through its MOT this week needing replacement headlights and one seatbelt assembly and next week Alex Jupe will try check the the rest of the car out after he fave it an "Italian tune up" earlier!

I am sure Kevin will also let me know what needs doing and then all will be right!

75 Turbo Evo will be going for MOT next week as will hopefully the Alfetta GTV Turbodelta

I can say Davids Busso is sounding good. Fantastic even. Glorious. OMG what a peach of a mill that.

Looks the dogs as well BTW. Well done David!

Davids GTV6 looks a peach and sounds accordingly.

Former press car 155 Q4 does a good job also.

160 and 230 brake side by side. Lancia Delta Integrale turbo 2 litre in the AWD Q4.

Life is never dull with an Alfa is it?

Had a care free year with my 156 Sw v6, 2 clear MOTs with the only damage 2 new tyres, a headlight bulb and a blocked washr jet. I think it was saving it up for me....

In the last month, new clutch and new cambelt/water pump, 2 return visits because the timing still wasn't right, broken lower suspension arm from pothole, broken alarm that wouldn't turn off (now removed) and for good measure last night nicked a kerb (admittedly my fault) slashing a tyre. One of the new front tyres. And now the rears need replacing too.

Sigh

True, but that lots just maintenance and and a bit of bad judgement on your side. But you now have all the major jobs done with only the cambelt to do in 3-4 years time. These things as you know require plenty of preventive maintenance, but that's part of the fun if your willing to have a go yourself with the spanners.

Don't know what condition yours is in, but it's a rare car you have there that's worth hanging on to.

Stanced wink

There's even a "Stanceworks" logo as a sun visor, which will be the first thing to go!

My Spider is now finally stage 1.

CATCAM stage 1 camshafts, and custom ECU software from Savali tuning in NL. Backed up with some 166 3.0 brakes.

Still to come is a better exhaust (Supersprint manifold etc) and a CDA inlet.

It drives fantastically well, much more supple in the lower revs than a std. TS and keeps on going to 7500rpm now smile

I really, really like this cloud9

Indeed, I used to sell them new and still have a hankering for one and I think they are just getting better and better looking as the years go by. I was at the Auto Italia day at Brooklands a couple of weeks ago and there was a stunning example there that got my juices flowing cloud9
