Morning all, picked up my new car last week. Managed to spend a good few hours cleaning it on Saturday so thought I'd get some pictures and pop them up.
I wanted a car that had more room than my previous car, a Mini, but didn't lack in the looks department. The Mito delivers in both areas I think, it is a marmite car though from the reactions I've had.
The Mito and 'G' both look fantastic from the rear and side profiles, it's just the front that seems to split opinion. I hated the fronts to start with but over time as all Alfa's seem to do, the front ends have grown on me, especially when lowered. I didn't care much for the GT at launch either to be honest... Alfa's can be like all good albums, as they take ages for you to 'get' them, then they seem to stay fresh for forever.

Ive sold my first Alfa!
I have certainly had the experience. Sold it for less than 50% of the purchase price 2 years ago...
Unfortunately Im relocating back to the UK so she had to go. Just in time aswell as it was Tüv (MOT) time of the year! It was due 4 summer tyres, 4 winter tyres, new thermostat, spark plugs, Xenon Mount, Rear bumper spraying due to paint delamination, bonnet spraying due to chips.
My wife proceeded to rip the gloove box handle off the day before collection!
To top it all off, the low oil pressure warning light came on 2 corners from home, on the day of collection!
After all of that, I still find myself in the Brera section of the classifieds for my new UK car.

That 156... Oof. In other news, my GTA spat the contents of its gearbox all over the m4 j11 roundabout last weekend. Awaiting the prognosis...
Diff? Before this, I was contemplating getting an uprated diff, but given the mileage, I had just about arrived at the decision to not bother. It now seems like it'd be stupid not to if I'm going to have to get the box rebuilt anyway, regardless of whether the diff itself is kaput or not.
