Previous owner of mine appears to have spent some time and money updating the silver interior elements to carbon.

I like it!

T
That's nicely done.
Was an expensive factory option, something like 2500 or 3500 EUR. But I'm not sure if correct.

Dutch dealership has one for sale:

This is my current Alfa, a Cosmos Blue 147 GTA with a Q2 diff and is standard bar the uprated brake pads. Interior is grey and black leather. Wheels are teledials. One of my mates wants me to do more with the engine, but I think it's only just handling the power at the moment as it is. I love the car, love the steering, love the noise, love the sheer grunt (reminds me of my old Chimaera at full throttle) but its prime purpose is to be practical and sadly my skis are 2" too long for it and I have to take both wheels off the mountain bike to get it in. A mate has a bike rack which he'll lend me, if it fits. It does meant that the car will be replaced in a year or two though, when the time is right. No idea what with yet.

This one was my first Alfa, a standard-ish twin spark zoe yellow Spider with Mintex brake pads and a ragazzon rear section on the exhaust. Manual hood, so no problems. Kept this one for 6 years and still miss it when I see its picture.

ETA - thumbsnap links don't appear to be working. Thanks to the ph'er (Oilpro?) who pointed that out. I'm trying to upload them from sea over a V Sat link and it's seriously struggling. Back home in 3 weeks, will deal with them then. They're worth it honestly!

Interesting - I'm 99% sure mine is just that dip stuff and is fake. Otherwise, the trim is worth a significant portion of the cars value, let's hope not!

Yes - got him out of hibernation for the trip and he went like a dream! Forgot to take any pics while at Brooklands, but here's one of us on Eurotunnel on the way back -

Also fixed the problem with the lights obscuring the number plate on Tante Julia -

Thanks! It's an ex-AR press car bought with 19,000 km on the clock (documented), and only gets brought out for special occasions. smile

This is just the Forza playing boy racer in my, but i desperately want a Q4 with a race tuned V6 swap and DTM body kit :P (my favorite alfa in FM4, a DTM style 155 beast)

Not quite mine yet, but i shook the mans hand, itll be getting a new MOT/belt/pump/thermostat, a suspension niggle sorted, and the black 17" monstrosities will be replaced by original 15" distinctive rims

Itll be replacing the company car, since i dont do any business miles now anyway

I plan on keeping it original and well maintained, if it does well and doesnt throw big bills too soon it might be getting some nice goodies.

Here you go....

There are a few Q4's for sale - www.marktplaats.nl - www.autoscout24.nl - so a donor car should be available smile

Those are 2 wheel drive.

Turning a 155 into a DTM beast will set you back 90s Ferrari money!

The V6 TI DTM car was AWD according to wikipedia, hence needing a Q4 for the base :P

Those V6 DTM engines are silly expensive though, and would be properly hard to fit in the front i think.

Id settle for a 2.5 V6 155, but those are getting expensive as well, and wouldnt be too much of a sensible choice right now (need a somewhat affordable to run daily hack, hence the 147 purchase)

I know. Sorry, I searched AutoScout and only found a handful of 2-wheel drive 155s.

Trying to find a Q4 is more difficult though. I only found 1 black 10K car in the UK.

The for sale DTM engine is silly. For a road legal car a hi po V6 (200-250 brake) would be my choice. I expect a 2 litre turbo to be a safer bet and also more tuneable. And lighter! Davids Q4 sounds and feels safe and easy. There must be about 30% extra horses in there. And with 300 brake on tap you will have a serious Pork eating piece of weapon. It's quick as it is though so why bother wink
