The car has finally arrived in the UK and delivered to me today still showing her SA number plates. What a journey it has been. Some detailing to do, prep for the MOT and hopefully we will be on the road in a month.

Henk

Your car looks the business, here is my second one which recently arrived from RSA. as you say, what a journey it has been....complicated by the engine swap (3.2 24v GTA engine) but now at Alex Jupe's for MOT, cambelts, etc.

Mine is a track car, rollcage, autodelta bits, uprated brakes, RSR suspension, etc, plan to keep her as is for the moment.

Now finally through MOT and documents sent off to the DVLA this week. Alex Jupe and his team has just finished off cleaning up the engine bay -

Alongside is my other long term project - almost there too!

I have a supercharged V6 Brera - blinding power and a sound to die for - amazing balance for a heavier car too (348bhp, 0-60 5.3secs)

Currently for sale too: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/a...

Nice to see a red Alfa that's been painted a different colour instead of the other way round...

Love the big nose 916. Superb colour too. What I also love about the 916 series is tractor engines never got fitted to sully the bloodline. Great car you have there.
