Took mine to a local meet this morning and parked next to an old Ford.

The last pic reminds me of why people who like a FWD Alfa don't buy one: assymetric front!

OCD...

Maybe but, if my old 156 is anything to go by, the turning circle that would shame an oil tanker probably ranks higher!

Yeah, well: not for decent drivers wink

Two litre 147 FL here: 156 underpinnings and I'm happy even in tight European city parkings

GTV Twinspark, obtained about 3 months ago. Good fun, though I find you have to keep the engine spinning to get the best from it.

My old 159 returns to the fold. There’s a thread about how I’ve ended up buying it back.

Just came back from Italy. Loads of them about.
I remember going there well over a decade ago and saw numerous carabinieri 159, loved their livery. Now they were all Punto or Guilietta.

I've owned 3 myself, great car in many ways. Weighed about half as much as the moon though.

They've just taken delivery of hundreds of Tonale's apparently so still quite loyal to Alfa Romeo, either that or Alfa need somewhere to offload all of those they clearly aren't selling to the public.

I think they sell half of the new cars in the motherland...

A 159 is gorgeous but a bit too obese to enjoy.

Brera was out when a new iteration of the GT came along: Italians sure are funny.

Not sure I posted a pic of mine so here it is

Not old school but very much used as intended. Pulls a box trailer of wet fields to tracks (4wd handy!)

Go work everyday, centre parks with kids/bikes on back, roof box at times, roof tent when racing long distance on circuit

Been solid so far 18k since new. I intend to run it for the next 4-5 years

Flew through its MoT at my favourite Indie this morning. The only non-routine maintenance this year was a new battery (after six years, fair enough) and a pair of front tyres (puncture).

Here's my "Bussone" after a bit of a spruce-up by Autolusso while the engine was out for new belts and a clutch (complete with Garage Queen CTek leads):

I still need to get the intake runners re-chromed (turnaround time was too long to get them done at the same time as the powder coating). Also wondering what to do with the fuel rails. I was wondering about nickel plating those - any suggestions from other Busso obsessives?

My new (to me) 146Ti that's identical to the one I had back in the late 90s, except with lower mileage of 28k and counting:

And one with his little friend:

The car is on a slight slope...

I like it when the rear comes up a bit.

Light colours make a beautifully sculptured car look even more elegant:

Giugiaro did a fine job.
