fiat X1/9 Lido

I recently bought Les Mott's Lido, a car which he spent a considerable time and sum on restoring. I hav hada few X'ys in the past, but still think the Lido was the prettiest of them all

Very nice... A guy round the corner from me has a couple of the later cars, which are pretty nice but ruined by the bumpers. Can later cars be modified to look like earlier cars?

yes they can be modified as the body underneanth is the same. Problem is getting the early bumpers etc

I always liked the 1300 original looks with the quarter bumbers etc. Had a few or restoration in the past but didnt have the time or resources to do them so got one that someone had done earlier!
I still think it is one of the most beautiful cars ever made!

I changed it for a Monte which was also lovely also, i kept for 12 yr ..
