Please don't sell it, you'll never forgive yourself, especially when it has so much family history. Of course it's also a very special car, much more so than the two Lancia's I regret selling. Having a story like that associated with the car gives it much more sentimental value.

They are going for good money now, but I don't think I could live with myself.

I spent a lot of time and money on a VX coupe that I sold when I bought the integrale, it went to Australia to some one who I thought was an entusiast. I saw it two years later a rusty tatty mess for sale on ebay. Due to their import laws he'd only had it a year, so my 14 years and thousands of dollars of tidying was undone in no time.

How would you feel if you saw your car in that state?

Keep it, or give it to me, I'll drive it every day and polish it every weekend!

My newest one for restoration. A 1994 Evo2

It currently looks like this.

Unfortunately once its finished its going to be for sale as I have uncovered a pretty rare Lancia Falvia Vignale Cabriolet and it needs full restoration.

So if anyone's interested in whats going to be a fully restored Evo2 get in touch, specially if you want it personalised

I have a question for the Fulvia chaps...

When removing the bumpers from an S2 i see that the indicators are set in the bumper. Can these same units be mounted on the front valance or does one need to buy new, different units?

Cheers for any advice.

The hole in the valance is a little smaller than the indicator lens, you could cut it to the right size or not it's up to you. You should just need to drill a couple of holes to bolt the indicator to the valance. Quite easy and looks really good. i found some of those stainless bumper hole covers on ebay.de for not too much too.

Lovely, thanks. I kind chap who is local to me has an S2 minus bumpers. He said I could go round this weekend to have a look at how he did it.

Cheers again.

And they're not cheap. I managed to find some on a local auction site, the owner said they were off an Alfa, not sure which model though sorry but they're exactly the same. Might pay to check some photos of old Alfas?
