Excellent, thanks for the link, something else to spend my money on! Yeah it really is a small world, I think Lancia's have particularly enthusiastic followers and we search each other out. Your car does look great and from the videos looks to go well too, I've followed your mods on Lancia sport seeing as there's not a huge amount of 8v info out there it's always great to hear someone's first hand experience. And always keen to hear more. There are only six 8v's in NZ!

To have ANY integrale's in NZ is rare, but to have 6 8v's.................The 8v integrale is starting to appeal to more people now as they'll soon be eligable for historic rallying, now there's a thought rolleyes

The world gets smaller everyday. I've got the 2008 Rally Legend dvd, was thinking a trip to San Marino might be a good idea this year.

I star in the 2008 video for all of 3 seconds or so biggrin. Rally Legend is a fantastic rally, just how it used to be, although I do fear an accident is looming with spectators as the drivers do get a "little" bit flamboyant (1.10 into the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gni1aHmMbz8&pla... To see the Grp B cars being used as they were designed for is fantastic. The routes already planned for next year (look out for the videos!!!) just trying to put the finances in place but I've already climbed the biggest hurdle, the wife has given me permission biggrin.

See what you mean, that could've been nasty! I haven't spoken to my wife in six years, but the new girlfriend seems keen.

There's some great shops on the top of the hill in San Marino or failing that, you could send her to Milan............

Some pictures of my Monte-Carlo which i sold a few years ago... this car was the one that appeared on Top Gear when they did the Lancia article. I owned this car for over 25 years! Great car in its day but to be honest they are so dated to drive these days...

While I am in a posting mood.... some old Monte-carlos i bought for spares when they were cheap! The black one was bought for £10 as scrap! I found £12 in loose change under the seats - happy days!

My Delta Gt and GT IE. they were actually very good cars, at the time a better proposition than an XR3i Ford. And a picture of my Thema, a VIS model one of the last imported to the UK. It was a very good car, not a single fault in 100,000 mile of motoring!

And finally, my Beta coupe 2.0 My first Lancia. In 1975 I was working in an indipendant garage when one of out regular customers (Dr Cunningham)came in with his new lancia Beta saloon. He wanted us to fit some fog lights. I took him back to his surgery in the car and took it on a little detour on the way back... that started my love affair with Lancias! Over the years I owned many of the marque, just wish i had photographed all of them!

Thanks for that. The Fulvia's mine, the Healey isn't. The Fulvia is rhd but with 'original' headlight configuration as it was built for South Africa - where it was owned by Robert Coucher (editor of Octane) and his father.. Spending most of it's life there accounts for unusual absence of rust.

The fulvia is pretty and a legend, but the Healey is in a different league.
