The Final Ed and Lagos blue are my two fave colours for the Evo2. Lovely. Like the Escort as well.

Not my Lancia, but I think it is pretty special. Spotted in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight today. I did not quite realise what it was or quite how rare it is too....

Obviously RHD but I don't know what the reg number is?

Just bought this on Sat, 1965 Fulvia Berlina 2C. I'm told it is one of only 3 RHD cars left. Needs a bit of work but as I am going to be using it as my daily transport it will be a rolling resto.

I think the Aurelia B24 Spider is one of the most beautiful cars of the 20th c.

One sold for over a $1m in the USA recently

Pleased to see it's gone to a good home, Simon is a great Fella but he was unlucky at the LMC track day, having to pull out after dropping a valve, hope it's ok now.

Welcome to a very exclusive club, I spoke to Bill Shannon a couple of months ago but he didn't tell me he was selling her.
You are correct she is the oldest of the 3 Fulvia 2c Berlinas' left, mine is the second oldest but the difference is only a couple of months or so and is in England, while the 2c of alan Murphy in Southern Ireland is the youngest (1967)
Yours was the first one I'd ever seen back about 1995 when she belonged Robin Lacey who eventually passed her on in the early 2000's after he bought and Restored 'Modestine' a Dilambda, by which time she had been neglected due to all the restoration work on 'Modestine', she next turned up with someone near me in Bedfordshire but in a very poor condition, the next I heard was that Bill Shannon had bought her and was restoring her, I offered to help Bill if he needed advice, an offer which he took me up on when he kept throwing off the drive belt, I couldn't understand why until in the course of the conversation he told me it had one long belt that came off the crankshaft pulley, around the dynamo pulley then around the fan, this was odd as the correct series 1 1091cc engine has two belts, one from the crankshaft pulley to the dynamo double pulley, then another from this to the mechanical fan, the penny dropped and it turned out that at some point the 1091 cc engine had been replaced with a series 2 1298 cc engine that should have a an alternator and an electric fan, but someone had bodged it trying to keep the dynamo and mechanical fan, and as far as I'm aware you now have an electric fan and an alternator?
I've had my 2c well known throughout the Lancia Motor Club as "Fay"
( FAY 224D) since 1997 when she'd been off the road for 21 years, it took two years to get her back on the road, since then I drove her to Portugal in 2004, a total of 3500 miles with the only trouble being a puncture after hitting a deep pothole, in 2006 we drove to Turin for the 100 years of Lancia Celebrations covering another 2000 miles with another puncture 40 miles from home on the way back!, then in 2013 with 14 other Fulvias' from the UK, Holland, Belgium & France we drove to Mondovi and Turin celebrate 50 years of the Fulvia, we took the long route over the mountain passes and over the Col Du turini, great event with another 2350 miles covered and a broken bonnet cable.
"Fay" is the only one of the 3 that still has her original 1091cc engine, OPD 37E, Alan Murphy's 2c blew a piston back in the early 2000's and the owner chose to change the engine rather than rebuild it, on my way home with "Fay" from Norfolk after restoration I broke a piston ring and scored the bore, but chose to have the engine rebuilt to the original spec.
Your 2c was the first 2c I drove, in 1999 I was quite despondent as the promised 6 months for restoration had over run to 2 years, at the Lancia AGM in the lake district that year Robin took pity on me, so I had my first drive in a 2c and loved it, so much so that I had to make a decision on whether I keep "Fay" or my series 1 1.3 Rallye Coupe after the restoration as I couldn't afford to keep both, "Fay" won and the coupe was sold, 15 years and 27,000 miles later I've never been sorry about that decision, but I wish I could have kept both.
If you want to have a chat I'll let you have my phone number, and if I can help at any time in anyway please let me know.
I also have photos of your 2c, as I've known yours and Alan's 2c for many years, and along with "Fay" they are the only UK Series 1 Berlina's I've ever seen.
Although my 1091cc is no slouch and will, and has held 70-75mph with no trouble, although with the 4 speed gearbox your pulling 4500rpm at 70 mph, if you intend using yours as a daily driver then your 1298cc engine is probably the best choice, Brin Edwards ex LMC Chairman used to use a series 2 1300 cc Berlina as his daily driver and swore that you couldn't find a better car, Don Cross another ex Chairman still has his, and having been driven by Don in it, I'd agree.

Chaps my old Flavia 2000 coupe. I bought from the second owner who had it in storage for 25 years where it suffered a few things falling on and reversing into it.

I have had in storage for about a year and its time to get moving on it.Its in need of quite a lot mechanically but the body is mostly rust free (just a few bends) which is a surprise. Interior is very good.

I have a few cars in the shed and this usually gets the most comments, pretty car.

cheers mc
