Today the key fob stopped working, took it apart to be greeted with what seems like broken bits lol.

What's the tiny little bit off? I assume it's to go on or with the part I'm pointing the screwdriver to?

I haven't yet determined if its the battery but either way I also can't work out what goes where?

I heard about this Carl baker but heard he's not about so what is the easiest route? Would also like a spare if that's easy enough?
Thanks

Big Al.

Give Carl a bell, BUT be quick he's off to pastures new very soon.

Abacus alarms sorted out my replacement fobs. It looks like the micro switch has come apart on your old one.

Thanks, I will make some calls tomorrow.

Does it look like it can just be sent off for repair or would they need the car?

You need the plastic card in your manual- they'll need the code off it.

Hi

You might also find this contact useful...

...used to work for Meta in TVR days and trained/supported all the Meta alarm dealers

Extract from his details I have on file...

<<
My name is David Fairclough and I contacting all the regional organisers within the TVR owners club.
Until 2 years ago, I headed up technical support for Meta SystemsUK in the south of England. This entailed liaising with vehicle manufacturers and helping with the design and support of alarm systems.

As Meta Systems were the manufacturer and suppliers for the alarms installed to TVR, I found I was also responsible for the training and support of their regional installers.

After having been made redundant, I decided to set up my own business, offering installation and support of alarm systems...

...like Carl, probably knows as much or more than anyone about TVR alarm systems.

Thanks, A.
