Hello Nicholas, on 14th July we, along with as many other Pistonheads as we can muster, will be leaving Wales and going for a very English morning out as per my post last week:

"On Sunday 14th July, instead of pootling off alone, how about driving approx 65 miles north with us on some lovely roads via Monmouth and Hereford to Shelsley Walsh for their monthly Breakfast Club meet.

No need to go too early (9am start?) so no need to skip the hotel breakfast! The meet at Shelsley is a laid-back gathering of people who love their cars, like we do, and others who wish they were that lucky! It is free to attend and open from 9am to 12 noon:

If you go to the Breakfast Club part of their website they do ask you to register but that is largely so that they can plan where to park particular cars or groups of cars. We went along for the first time today and found it a really nice way to pass a couple of hours on a Sunday morning.

As for Yeti, I think he has, as we say, woossed out and is thought to be going to the Festival of Speed instead.

Are you thinking of joining us? We would love to have you along again (but this time you would not be the only Frenchman as Seb, plus his wife and daughter, are going to be joining us on Saturday)

Having rear diffuser replaced after reversing into a low post in readiness for Wales run. Looked at replacing cats for 200 cell ones, eventually decided to have cats completely removed........hopefully my objective of more noise will be met and should sound a lot meatier now. Opted for Quicksilver straight through pipes and switch installed to better control rear baffles. Looking forwards to hearing the old girl with her new soundtrack - hopefully even the B&O wont have enough power to drown this one out

Six weeks to go. Hotel will stop taking bookings for this soon (they have extended time limit for us ).

Don't know why I want to see more of you join us - there's nothing in it for us but the pleasure of getting our AM PH friends together - so the more the merrier - but not in an alcohol-induced way - the intoxication comes from the sight and sound of these wonderful cars and the pleasure of seeing you lot enjoying them & having a laugh together! OK, there might be some alcohol too.

We may not have an Aston of our own to drive on this date but hope to enjoy getting passenger rides with some kind soul.

Will probably be back in Wales on a route planning exercise over the next couple of days. Wont be the same without Purdey It's a good job we've got Flash!

Last chance to sign up for this. I've noticed lots of enthusiastic newbies around so if that's you then this is your chance to meet up and show us what you've got!

Options are 1 or 2 night stay + Saturday drive, or just daytime Saturday drive, or join us on Sunday morning to head up to the Breakfast Club meet at Shelsley Walsh to round off the weekend.
