Bought myself an 06 S8 in black with black and grey leather, B&O, normal brakes, 60k on the clock with Miltek exhaust.

I took a trip to Switzerland covering about 1500 miles and what a car it is! Very quick surprisingly close to my old Tuscan in pure performance although not as nimble. Sound is fabulous as is the drive.

Economy wise on long motorway jaunts on cruise control I got around 430 miles per tank which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. On the whole though all good so far.

I will have a full Audi service done for peace of mind and I will keep you posted on how it goes. First impressions though are all good!

I don't know about the exhaust, how do you know the difference? Either way sounds great!

I'll put pics up shortly but it needs a clean first as it is caked in bugs post swiss jaunt.

If it's non-res there won't be any centre exhaust boxes after the cats - just some replacement pipes that can be dropped in/out for resonated option.

I suspect it'll be resonated as it'd probably drive you nuts on a long run otherwise lol

Lots of useful info on a8 parts forum as well if you need any info on specs of '8 specific advice biggrin

Pics are a must, mucky or not!

It's awesome! Actually louder and better than my Tuscan which is pretty impressive. Also in Switzerland there are just masses of tunnels so great fun!
