I like the Advan wheels, after learning my current wheels are less then circular I've taken a great interest in such things of late. The main issue I had with the Advan's is the finding the right size and somewhere in this country that sells it.

You can get Advans in the right sizes to do the job - 17x8 and 17x9 or 18x8 and 18x9 in ET45. You then need longer wheel studs and a 3mm spacer. I got mine from TDC automotive and with the help of a good friend and quite a few hours of his time we swapped the studs over. The fronts are easy enough to do, but you need to take the hubs off to do the rears as there is not even the clearance to get the standard studs out in situ. The weight of the Advans is v impressive, but then so is the price! www.japshop.co.uk ?
I did email the japshop.co.uk a few weeks back and received not a single response. Which is a pity, as i said previously I've narrowed it down to three options for myself, either custom made from squared or image or importing direct from japan some (Ray's Volk Racing) TE37's (i'd love a set of ce28n but apparently they are no longer made). All three options are the same price more or less.
My question is will i notice any performance difference in spirited driving? The Ray's are about 7.8kg a wheel, the custom made wheels from image are quoted at around 10.5kg, and the squared wheels are around 10-12kg.

And what about Jade R from team dynamics ?
As i'm in France, it's quite difficult other there to explain distributors the cerbera specifics...
Mine is a 4.5 from 2001 with chocolate spider all round.
And Jade R seems to be used on the latest Sagaris.
Does anyone other there put some on his cerbie ?
What are the technical specifications in this case in 18 ?
Many thanks
