HAVING A REAL BAD DAY ?
Discussion
No but this RUF was on this particular day...
Picture taken from our National news paper back when it happened a few years back. And before anyone attacks me over being sure if it's the same car... I'm sure
A big shame as in it's day it was a legendary car in our parts. I have seen it recently and it does however look the dogs nuts and has supposedly been repaired to Porsche standards.

I saw the car in person after the accident and it was a mess. I'm not sure if the dealer knew when he traded it but he does know now after a friend enquired about it not knowing it's history until he emailed me.
The dealer version of the accident was (excerpt from email) "it was involved in the accident which by the way was when it was on a yard in Wellington for sale on behalf of its owner when some very foolish salesperson let a inexperience airhead out in it on a test drive"
The true story was that it was owned by a very wealthy developer in Wellington. The car was experiencing a shudder in the brakes at over 200kmph. It was put into a business for the brakes to be inspected and the owner and his son lost control of it on a wet road putting it into and UNDER the armco. The father are son are pictured in there business uniform but for obvious reasons I have left names out.

We have a few RUF's in NZ with this one being my favourite and sadly this is the only pic I have of it.
BTR
And more
This one used to be Adventura Green and was repainted to GR when the dealer couldn't move it.
And theres a RUF 993 cab but I can't find the pic although the owner is a PHer.
