My randoms
Probably going to off load a sizeable chunk of these in the near future. Most of the Rossi bikes have been re-released in different boxes by Minichamps recently which screws the residuals! and they were getting silly by doing bikes he's never even ridden! Can also see the F1 and several of the road cars departing via eBay (unless someone can suggest a better website).
Just haven't the room and the inclination any more!

Not entirely mine, it was my dads from when he was a young boy, and it got passed down to me. I also have 2 matchbox pick ups somewhere and they're apparently rare.
Was actaully watching some auction program and 1 of them sold for a couple of hundred.
This sad old narrow boat diorama, built it many years ago and it needs a thorough cleaning before I repair and "accurise" it. The ropes on the canvases need tying properly, the tow path needs metalware to stop the boat floating away and the bargee's missus needs re-gueing to the base.
The trees and plant life need refreshing too, summat to do this year instead of trekking to Le Mans in June
Every part of the dio was scratch built except the figures which were modified from a 1/48 scale soldier set (?) the horse was from another source, beggared if I can remember where though
It'll look far better when cleaned up, thought I'd put it in now to force me to get it sorted...

Perdu, That looks great, I appreciate the skill involved in scratch building much more now, since doing a very limited amount on my latest model. The trees and plant life need refreshing too, summat to do this year instead of trekking to Le Mans in June

thanks dr_gn
I thought I'd better get started and by putting it in here I've sorta given myself a kick up the axis...
The traditional narrow boats had dual purpose furniture as the table lifted to make way for the bed
The table inside the cabin lifts (like wot it orta) but the crockery is fixed so it's not quite authentic
they ought to stow inside a cupboard
The model is almost knee deep in dust and when it's clean the whole thing looks very good, dull shiny water looks quite good.
I wil be starting soon, first by dusting then the work on the roping
Quite looking forwards to it

I wonder would it be worth running a PH group visit to Duxford - along the lines of the one I organised to Hendon in 2007?
You can add me to the list too!Lsst year was a bit of a write off for me due to sick relatives and other issues.
It's still something I'd like to do.
