you're screwed - shouldn't have paid via bank transfer as you have no protection...

chalk it up to experience and forget about it.....plod aren't going to do anything for £100

once you have contacted the police let the police take it from there they should know what to do as they do that sort of stuff all the time and the bank will know where the money has gone but cant just get it back like that but at least they will be able to tell the police where it went to also phonesafe thingy should have details of numbers but you probably wont need that as the bank stuff should be more that enough but it maybe that the bloke was just slow and has sent the stuff out ne-ways

Look at it this way, if its going to a) change your life and b) still be an issue in a few weeks time, then you have a problem. if either a) or b) isn't valid then just suck it up & try and get over it!

There are worse ways to loose more money then learning a lesson, sorry mate!

If you have a problem.. ''call the PH team ..''

I would guess that after contacting the police the guy says he posted it and it becomes a civil matter.

The best way to get your money back is go round his house and demand it..

The police will probably take a statement from him at the most, but any lie he states about the matter will be hard to refute..

Unless he has a track record your bank/ the police will not solve the problem as banks are good at wiping their hands of issues like this..

Rubbish. They've investigated stuff for me for under £20.

Not very often.

My father is in fraud prevention, he's had one fraud totalling £750,000 where he has the name and address of the perpetrator, local police say they haven't any spare bodies to investigate, SFO say they won't get involved as the total is less than £1m.

You have his email address?

Get on as many gay dating websites as you can find and register him to them. If you did a bank transfer you should have some of his details when you get a statement. Use those to pay for membership to the national front and buy a few Kilo's of Amonium Nitrate to be sent to a Mosque. Via Royal Mails so M.I.5 picks it up first.

You're only limited to how evil you want to be. hehe

Just go in gently before you have proof.

Dhl lost them and his pc has crashed, coincidences do happen.

But agree I would due to principle track him down, but dont go in all guns blazing else you might find yourself in more trouble than he is.
