1 last question about leaks - door seal working to well now

got all the main leaks sorted and been really dry
apart from one part which is pobley really easy
the rubber that goes ound the frame where the door goes
have sealed this so nto coming from undeneath
but looks like is collecting on top of the rubbe seal then over into the car
seen the dimple things that would look like to drain anywater here
but still going over
could i fix this by drilling some small 2-3 mm holes though rubber for this to escape or is there a better solution

On ours when i replaced the seals i noticed that where the seals run along the sills they have two flattened areas about 18 inches apart. One more to the front of the sill and the other towards the rear.... The rubber had been stuck to itself obviously by injecting some glue in then simply pressing it together. This way any water running along the seal runs off to the outside and on to the sill using the flat part of the seal ( Only about an inch) as a drain hole.

i made a couple of slits with a scalpel blade....cant see them when the door is open but they open up when the door squashes the rubber seal.
