I don't think there'll be many wrecks around just yet for that kind of project.

To be fair, to find a neglected one and do it up at the moment wouldn't be cost effective IMO.

Wait another 5 years at least.

I am in the process of restoring mine.

bought from a garage up north for under £6,000...had to have engine rebuilt, have retrimed interior and have had new hood and carpets..next is paint

had to sort out wiring and instruments, so have had dash made for me..

it is a lot of effort, as i have no technical knowledge, but in the end i will have a bespoke car for myself with everything as i want it..

as to the money side of things, best for me not to add the numbers up...but how many euro boxes are there out on the market and how many griffs? i know what i prefer so its worth the money..

Theres a nice looking pre-cat in the classifieds for under £7k!!,and ive seen others, even 500's around that price in these ads before. To buy an accident damaged car, that you cant even drive to make sure all is well,it needs to be silly cheap imho.
I wish someone would buy 'Raspberry press' and restore it before i do something really sillyyikes, for which my wife will surely divorce me!!smashhehe

Are you sure TheGriffalo's link to a prospective buyer for L118 isn't making you a little anxious Mark? You ought to try a griff!hehe.
I'm sure it'll be worth the wait when you get the Chim back from Jamiesyes, more power and a/c-it'll be really greatevillick
By the way, when an indie retro fitted a/c for me a while ago,it took much longer!
