Stupid film cliches
Discussion
You must know what I mean, the same silly stuff seen in film after film.
For instance, it's the middle of winter, the character enters a house, but doesn't close the door behind him.
The hitman assembles a sniper rifle, the telescopic sight is seperate from the barrel. No ranging shot, very first shot smack on target.
The main characters run from an explosion or a building bursting into flame (often used as a publicity still).
The main character arrives at his or her place of work, often an open plan office, everybody else is already there.
Character gets into a car and drives off, doesn't need to start the engine.
Feel free to add more.

Things always blowing up in huge sheets of flame whenever they are shot, cars pushed over cliffs exploding or that bloody Windsor Flight in Die Hard 2 that is "running on fumes" when it is forced into crashing and blowing up like it was a flying petrol tanker.
To be fair though, a fuel tank full of fumes will go up far quicker than a tank full of fuel These aren't really clichés though, I didn't think? I thought a cliché was more an overused plot idea or similar. For example, a policeman's older partner with a wife and kids is days from retirement but gets killed by the bad guy.
Or the countdown thing of getting to the 'abort' switch at 00:00:01. And so on.
The above are still amusing inaccuracies though.
