But don't forget the septics use smaller horses (shetlands or donkeys?)
so their numbers look bigger.

I like it. redface

I don't have a F*** hang-up, and will take whatever's best.

I notice that top of the 6cyl and 8cyl line-ups are both FI. hehe

I knew i may have got a bit of backlash for posting that - but looks wise (with the stripe) is actually quite nice (IMO) and as other posted have stated - Ford are getting some quite impressive perfrormance figures with these latest engines

I'm a Ford man stuck in a Holden domain.

The 5.0 will be a top bit of kit. I've been keeping an eye on the development for a while.
Ignore the yank figures, they're irrelevant as the motor was stripped and redesigned in Aus by FPV purely for the Falcon.

I've enjoyed my HSV time here in the UK. I'd have stayed a blue blood back in NZ but the cost of a BA onward Falcon (if you can find a good one) here is crazy!

Maybe a VXR8 for 2011 but hoping to save enough for a year old FPV GT-P for 2013!

Whatever house you're in, you have to admit Ford is back in the game after a poor spell with the 5.4

I like it although im a ford man to having a Ba ute up in sunncy scotland lol.

Its a hassle to bring it over here unless its a personal import and much easier to bring in a ute. My next purchase i thinks.

As for finding a ba ute thats way to expensive here they are pretty much on par with holdens of the same age.

My ute wasnt expensive albeit there is a bloke up here wanting 24k for his xr6 but it hasnt got half the stuff he said to be making such low power.

Where I Scotland are you? I'm in Dunfermline.

Would be good to see the Ute.
I'm looking into how to get the best deal with tax in NZ and the UK for an import in the hopefully not too distant future.

Have to be honest, I'm a V8 man but the 6 turbos are awesome machines!

But GM (VXR) have fronted up and brought the big V8 cars here for us to enjoy. Ford have got bugger all to offer in this league in the UK if you are a V8 nut.

I work in aberdeen weekdays but live in falkirk at weekends.

Im a V8 man too but when the turbo 6 wiped the floor with the v8's i had to have one.

test drove an 03 ss ute and it felt st to drive. Maybe it was just tired. Anyway spotted my one so tried it out and the thing was mad on takeoff for a std truck.

Needless to say it now has a 3" turbo back system and remap of the autobox and ecu. Full pedders poly bushing well nearly. Only pushing 420 as my std injectors are the limiting factor. Need to try and get siemens deka 60lbs ones somewhere for a reasonable price.

There is an 05 F6 typhoon saloon that would possibly be forsale as its the guy who remaped the ute.

As for your tax in NZ. Aus would be the best bet as the prices are cheaper for holdens and fords there. Generally NZ pay heel of alot more than Aus and thus the more econimical way to import one is from Aus.
