Well after 5 months I had to take my like new knox handroids back to the shop. they are white and black and the gut in the shop could see they had not been down the road or even used a great deal. Prob only put 800 miles on them since April. Been wearing winter gloves and other summer gloves during this time.

Get back from a ride last week and they R index finger stitching had come loose. Not great for a £180 gloves or if I did have to use them in a crash.

But I will be pciking up a new pair as they would only send them off to get looked at and not refund. OK it could be a one off but I know others have had issues with this. I have told the guys that I want 1 full year warrenty on the new gloves and if this happens again I want my money back or get another make

Anyone else got these gloves and had any issues with them on PH?

That's tough. There's nowt more annoying than paying good money for gloves that you want to feel right but mainly stay in one piece-especially without having crashed. Shame when Knox make a big play on their safety related products & those Handroids had a lot of bullstpublicity about them when launched.

Why? Isn't knowing that yours lasted 5 months and that others have had problems enough to just ask for your money back and buy something decent? If gloves can't stay in one piece through normal use I wouldn't be relying on them to save my hands. Get rid.

+1 You don't want to find out the next set are just as defective when you need them.

I Agree but you know what the power of forums is like. If they have had a few that have been on forums with a similer issue. The same can be said for the problems some BMW 1000RR are having with blowing new engines. it "could" be bad luck. Just hoping the new gloves have had these issues sorted and I won't have any problems again. I hope that made sense

So they need to send your gloves away to be looked at and possibly leaving you with no gloves to wear / needing to buy another pair to continue riding ?
Pretty shocking really for a £180 pair of gloves.
Wouldn't fancy crashing in them if they split that easily.
Interested to see what Knox have to say.

I doubt if they'll have changed their design in 5 months regardless of the power of forums. To get your money back you just need the sale of goods act and not a virtual pitchfork wielding crowd wink

Can't view the page, any chance of copying and pasting or giving the gist? I take it they didn't perform very well...

Watch if you go over 6 months as it may become more difficult to get your money back. In the first 6 months it is up to the retailer to prove that there is not a problem with the goods rather than you having to prove there is a problem.

Hopefully Dano from trackdayriders won't mind me posting this.

"Knox Handriod. Bought in May 2010. Did 3 trackdays with them before Le Mans, hardly worn.

What did I learn? Buy gloves from people whose business it is to make gloves. Knox - stick to armour, that's wht you are good at.

The big hole between 3rd and little finger appeared before I binned it at Le Mans turn 2 - slow left into the chicane, so really not a major off.

The holes in the end of the fingers I only noticed after the crash. I think the impact pushed my fingers through the weak seams. Dread to think what could have happened if it had been a faster off.

The armour did it's job though, protecting my palms and my wrist bones, both of which took direct hits.

The fit of the gloves is still excellent, shame about the quality of the stitching. Funny thing is, the right hand glove is 100%. It's only the left that's begun to fall apart."

Those pics suggest the gloves are of shockingly poor quality, and aren't even fit for purpose, let alone £180 rofl

Held gloves are what you want. German quality. No marketing BS. Having seen the pics above, Remal, I can't believe you want another pair? Do you value your hands?

I've just got some A/stars 365 gloves, but these, although waterproof feel very poor quality compared to what I ride on track in (Held Galaxy)..... They'll be going back to the shop soon for a refund I think.

Sweet jeebus at the above pics. I'd be getting any other set of gloves after seeing that. My spidis are still in one piece and going strong after 1 small off and 1 big off.
