Looking for a printer to print digital photos, not looking to do many prints but must be good quality, without the prints costing a fortune. Been using an Epson inkjet which was pretty good but is now not working right and I don't really need an A4 print size, I see that there are many different photo printers so anyone got any recommendations?

Do you need to be able to make prints immediately? If not, use one of the online printing services and never worry about cleaning print heads again

This is for immediate prints, that's why I don't need to do too many otherwise I'd get them done at a shop or online.

I use an Epson R360 which I think is quite highly regarded.

It's an A4 printer. You say you don't need an A4 print size, but mine came with some 6x4" glossy printer paper as a free sample.

Just adjust the printer for this size paper and you have your smaller prints, volia.

It takes 6 ink cartridges. Has a memory card reader and you can print straight from camera via Pictbridge.

Suits me fine so it's my recommendation.
