Just in the process of sorting out an advert for my wedge too.

After Le mans I made up my mind to sell my baby, but I thought I would see how much "realistically" I would use it.. and the answer is ... Not a lot.

I had planned to be at BBWF, but again, I could not go due to family commitments.
I guess if I have to involve the family, then i am going to need a 4 seater sports car.

Write you own bloody advert instead of nicking the structure of mine!
Or do I take that as a compliment? scratchchin

Seriously though, its good to see a fine selection of wedges for sale, priced at what they should be!

Looks like you've done your bit to rescue Wedge values Lee.

From the recent spate of ad's - looks like the wedges will be selling for more than the speed 6 engines TVR's biggrin

The speed 6's are only loosing so much value because they are seen as a liability (cost of repairs if / when they go "bang" ).

I don't know how true the myths are though as there is the urban myth that "all TVRs break down all the time". From the reliability I have found with my 2 previous wedges, I'd say the reliability is very good!

I think most of the sorted wedges are now better now than when they left the factory. plus are the easiest, v8 cars to work on. and as proved via the rolling road sessions are giving more BHP then the 4ltr Griff and Chim's and some are giving more than the 4.3s and 4.5s even some 5ltr cars are only getting 250BHP.

I spent the last weekend hooning about with a 299BHP Chim, and I never noticed any difference in performance. but then he may not have been trying. we had to slow down a few times to let the 350 catch back up though.

Sadly its a Maseratti .. build quality and reputation of a wet kleenex.
Isnt this the same one Woody you cooked at a trackday reciently ?
I have my Mondeo ST TDCI as a 4 seater family hack.. The next car is going to have to be something "special" to replace the Hole that will be left in my heart when the wedge goes.

Errr not quite, own one, or even drive one and you'll soon disagree with yourself! (if u dont your lying!) I wont compare one to a tivs build quality & reputation but I might get stoned

And no its not mine, never intend to sell it. I got that fixed for £300 what do you expect after driving it like that, thats all I've spent in reapir bills since March and I've done 10,000 miles in it since then

Dont be sad ... all comments made tongue in cheek. Im sure the Massa is a good car.. just doesnt do it for me.
Ive driven a few 3200's and a few of the 4200's They are ok ... out of choice, I would go for an XK8 or XKR. Performance not as "fresh" as I was expecting.. once a wedge head .. always a wedgehead hehe
