I saw this at the weekend and couldn't believe I'd not read about it anywhere. The Spyker key:

Which matches the badge:

...and the exhaust pipes:

Makes the "leather trimmed Audi fob" of the Veyron look a bit poor IMHO:

I should probably have taken a photo of the back too - six little allen screws hold it together and it's watch glass on the reverse so you can see the innards.

It's heavy in your hand as well, felt like a real piece of treasure.

The keys to my Elise are the coolest, they're exactly the same as the keys to my old 1987 Vauxhall Nova

That Spyker key looks very cool

Iy really does look like some one has put brown masking tape round an Audi key fob.

For £1,000,000 or what ever they are I'd want it coated in gold and encrusted in diamonds.

that Bugatti key looks like a brick IMO! certainly not the sort of bespoke quality you'd be expecting from a car that costs that much! the Bugatti fob retains the Audi flickknife effect key when you press a button does it not? it has to have one remotely cool feature about it!

i've always thought Ferrari did a pretty cool key,

Im designing a car key for a GCSE Graphics project on Alfa Romeo atm, and i just pray i can make it look as good as that. Doesnt have to work aswell, so i can just spend my time honing the looks.

Recipe for designing the above key:

Take one circa 1985 vauxhall key
Spraypaint it an awful shade of bright red
Stick a brightly colored ferrari logo to it

Congratulations -- you have now created your very own chavtastic, classless, look at me, tacky key

its always been a pet hate of mine having the central locking blipper not actually built into the key but on a seperate thing hanging off the keyring.
