Maldive honeymoon pics

[john185k]

Not long back from the most amazing experience of my life... 2 weeks in the Maldives for my honeymoon. Utterly beautiful part of the world, snorkling was sensational. Anyway I will let the pics do the talking as they give more away than anything.

All pics taken on Fuji S6500, really need to upgrade now to DSLR...

Here are a few...

Lovely pictures. Congratulations to you both.

Fantastic stuff, just goes to show it's as much about the photographer as the camera

[Olf]

^^^ What he said.

Stunning colours and great attention to detail. Congratulations on your marriage.

What camera are you using? They really do have superb colour! (I bet it's a 5D)

[john185k]

its a finepix S6500D. Great camera for beginner use. I am trying to learn the basics before upgrading to an SLR.

My (very amatuer) website is full of (very amatuer) shots mostly taken by the same camera.

Wrong, its a humble Fuji S6500, it said earlier in the thread, Tony.

Proof that you don't need some second mortgage priced camera to take great shots, and it really is in the eye of the photographer.

Cracking pictures.
