Well I can see that most of that is a perfectly ordinary picture of a cyclist doing a back flip while on fire, but what's that pale blue thing to the right of the picture?

No offence intended to recent posters and their photos but, can we let this thread die now? It's descended into just another 'pretty car' thread. Its title has now become truly irrelevent.

It's a shame. There are some extraordinary photos on this thread.

We need a picture thread though.

think it can be revived a later date, gives a chance for people to work on their own collections that way. fantastic images are too sporadic now, for me it was trying to find something to trump the previous photo that kept me looking for them. with nothing good recently i haven't been bothered.

ps - the video is inspired!

Well, how about a 'Random Picture' thread. Where you can post whatever you fancy?

That way, the really great photos on this thread will be there as a little PH archive. A place where on whichever of its 500+ pages you choose to click on, you will be guaranteed that a little gem will be waiting.

If we locked this thread now it won't get too diluted by 'holiday pics' reposts & pretty car shots.

(blimey I sound resentful. smile )

So, how about it? A new 'Random, Post Whatever Photo ThatYou Wish Thread'?

The only problem with that fine threrad is that it is 'hidden away' in the Photography forum. The beauty of this one is that it remained on P&P and so have a much higher 'readership'.

Now, if we could get that thread moved to the P&P, we'd be laughing.

Need to have some kind of 'quality control' in place, and a few simple groundrules i.e. no photoshop, no holiday snaps, etc.

Was that attacking the baby squirrel?

Good on it for taking on something so much larger.
