I'll be there with Miss Bert in my Radical Clubsport. As she is a relative novice, we are in the slower session.
Bert
Uh oh, novice in Radical! Keep well away Bert

Haha Melindi, my customers always wonder where all the sweeties go in the morning!!!

Never seen so many red lights. Frustrating day for many I suspect.
I was there with the camera rather than the car today.

Mail me if you want hi-res copies of anything.

Oh yes, it was wet!!

BTW - It may just be my hearing, but I'm sure in the chap doing the briefing told us to overtake by invite ONLY and only on the straights - definitely not in the braking area of very short straights linking bends. 997 GT3RS man, wiv the black GTSRS graphics, can't have been in the briefing for this
Sorry if it's one of you guys out there, but I played by the rules and so did most of the people I saw. But getting ready to turn in and then getting a n/s mirror full of pork, ain't a good look!!

wowee, wot a busy day! Wets on, slicks on, wets on etc.
Loadsa reds, so very bitty, but the weather was just a PITA. Had a good day allinall tho.
Sorry I missed you Sean, far too busy changing wheels!
Miss Bert had a fine time and ended up being quick relative to the slower group (IYSWIM) and hardly even close to an off!
Oh, and I know where some of the sweeties went!
The SLR was a bit wussey frankly, not really giving it the beans I suspect on account of the wet.

Hi Sean, sorry I missed you at the evening seesion as I spent a lot of time finding my way round and waiting for the Goldtrack staff to 'show' me the track. I'll email you the seesion time I have in mind.
Plenty of action during my first ever track session (as well as in the wet). The Enzo crashed very badly and I think it was written off. The front is completely wasted and the rear is dented!!!
A Monaro caught fire and was toed off. An Elise span in front of me but fortunately out of harms way.

I really enjoyed it, although dreading the rain I think it helped teach me a bit more about the way the car behaves. Had a couple of instruction sessions with the Silverstone guys which also helped a lot.
Definately looking forward to the next one now :-) Plus Mrs C want's to drive at the next one!!

Was a great day, quite enjoyed the rain as I needed the practice! Was the first time out for our new turbocharged Golf MK2, surprised a few people with its straight line speed. Shame about the Enzo, take it Paul was ok?
Black, orange wheels?Really fast if it was. Nice one.

God What a wet day that was.
Many red Flags, but had alot of fun in the wet in the 968 CS and then even more in the track club Exige in the afternoon in the dry. A superb car. Lots of interesting machinary there and yes the Enzo didn't look so good at the end of the day.
Shame about poor old Calum, and hope he is well soon.
Good pics Ted, I think I may be the one in the Exige (666) where you have the back of it as I was in it in the afternoon twice.
What was the name of the company who were there taking pics allday? orange tent etc... I forget the name.

He also did that to me in the Exige and with the car having rubbish rear visibility i took my line and he came from nowhere. Prat.

What happened to Calum then ?
On Monday Calum was loading a car onto a lowloader and something broke launching the said car off of the low loader into Calum squashing him between 2 cars by his leg. His leg is broke where the leg meets the foot, ankle area? Had an op yesterday but not sure on details yet. He was supposed to be giving me tuition yesterday so had Richard instead who was very good.

Really fast if it was. Nice one.
That's the one Peter. We've spent a lot of time building it for the customer over the winter, so it was good to see it doing the business. First race is at Lydden a week on Sunday, we will be at Donington on Tuesday so Mark can familiarize himself with the car further. Hopefully see some of you there, be nice to put same faces to the names!Really fast if it was. Nice one.
Paul.

I did the evening session in my white Porsche 968, never enough dry lines to build up tyre or brake temp -- must of rained 3 times in 2.5 hours. Toughest thing was the variable conditions around the circuit, dry bits, puddles, shiny bits and some oil I thought, all on the same lap -- concentration levels need to be high.
A bummer for Calum with a broken leg/ankle - such bad news for a racing driver. The Enzo looked rather sad on the pickup truck, indeed a lesson to us all.
The 3 series BMW's seemed quickest - there were 3 or 4 of them, race prepped and making the most of it. I liked the 1958 1.5 Riley giving it some, very twitchy though in the corners.
