Yes, but with more comfort and hence some of the 'edge' knocked off.

You could of course go for a 2nd hand GT3 comfort model. They come with sports seats instead of the buckets. Also no clubsport pack so you'd also have to retro fit the rear cage if you wanted one - easy enough to do.

If I was you I'd try the buckets again. They are actually pretty comfortable and supportive.

The only other problem of note in using the GT3 as an everyday road car is the ride height.

Hi Scott, for me it was more the height of the sides which slammed me on getting into the car. Once in I thought the buckets were very comfy. Although yes, the buckle is a surprise to feel there.

Thanks great write up and pic's. My son and I are due for this treat on the 21st April. We both run Turbos, mine recently bought and have had that nagging doubt should I have bought the GT3. So will find out, we are not guaranteed that the GT2 will be available, so hoping. Maybe Porsche think some one will stick it in the ditch!
