I'm in! Both dates are cool with me. I will be coming up from the South Coast so would prefer to stay over night and have a few bev's the night before.

Nic,

I'll also be coming up from the south coast (portsmouth) if you want to meet?

In Thailand at the mo so may not reply that often to any comments.

Just been speaking to the company that are organising the Silverstone event this year.
We can get our own area on the infield, so no parking in the general car parks, but they would like to have an idea of numbers, so as they set aside an area large enough for us.
The deal is: £50, this covers ALL 3 days/Infield parking/AND, believe it or not, you get an extra ticket free of charge, so basically 2 for 1.
For the Friday it's £20, as above, 2 for 1.
For the Sat. it's £25, as above, 2 for 1.
For the Sun. it's £25, as above, 2 for 1.
So if people are up for this, what's the best way forward, just get a list together, make it a sticky, up to you guys.
This offer is only open until June, so we need to have numbers and tickets purchased by that date.

My thoughts were just for a meet up and a hoon...nice and simple.
Happy to sort that, have found out in the past the more specific, complicated, expensive it gets less people turn up. All IMO.
Also TBH the idea of just sitting in a carpark (even with racing going on) is not for me.

So I guess I will take a step back here and let you guys sort this one.

Alex,
Sorry for complicating things mate, but it was only a thought, and with several people wanting a drink and/or food, also some are driving quite a distance, I just thought that this sort of meet would give us options, especially as it's over 3 days.
It doesn't stop you having a blast around either, as you can come and go as often as you want.
But I do appreciate it's not to eveyone's taste, so I will let people decide for themselves.

Just to update this thread, have just recieved an e-mail through from the organisers with details, and it would seem that the 3-day pass is actually £45, and not £50, with an extra ticket free.
Keeps getting better.

Just so as I can let them know some numbers then, and to organise an area for us, it doesn't matter how many days you are going to make, as long as we have room. I will start the list off:

Absolutely, it's open to anyone, just add your name to the list.
You might have to park at the back though. rofl

Just got back from a month away so will have to check the diary at work, but I would certainly be up for it if clear.

Is this it, I knew they were quite rare but this is pushing it.
I have to let the guys at Silverstone know quite soon about the size of pitch that we require, so even if you think you may be up for this then put your name down.
Better to have too much than not enough.biglaugh

Going to give the guys at Silverstone a call next week with regards to size of pitch required, if no more names are added then I will tell them to expect half a dozen cars.
If you are going then add your name to the list and I will mail you with the relevant code to qoute when ordering tickets, ( so as you get a pass to the infield ).
