Pistonheads show Pics

Hi there,
As people have said the show was very quiet today. Everything seemed smaller and scaled down.
Still a good show if you are a car fan with plenty of nice metal on display.
Here is a selection of my pics (please remember this was the NEC and the lighting is PANTS !) : -
Road cars first
Farbio - there were a couple of these at the show, looks quite nice

Koenigsegg

Nissan R35 GTR - with a bit of tuner input

Dodge Challenger

Focus RS - one of three at the show

Very nice Diablo VT Roadster for sale in the Coys auction

Nasty modified Murcielago - got talking to the bloke on the stand, he asked me if I liked it and I quite bluntly replied 'No'. He went on to tell me it had undergone a £150,000 transformation, I asked him why anyone would do that.

Possibly the worst looking exhaust ever

Probably my favourite road car of the show the Aspid

Now for some of the Racing cars
Thorneys CSL Cup car

2008 Renault F1 with more of the grid in the background.

Ex Colin McRae Subaru Impreza

'Red Five' - Mansells Williams

KTM X-Bow Race car - should see a few of these in British GT this year

New Renault Megane Trophy

Fiat Abarth 500

Ex Team Parabolica McLaren F1 - for sale if any of you fancy it

Lamborghini LP560 Racer - This new one make series debuts at Silverstone in May

Finally for a big GT fan like myself this was the star of the show - Aston Martin Vantage GT2

Hope you guys like the pics.
If you are going have a real good look around, there are some stunning cars at the show. (except that Murcielago)
Regards
Tim

Is there any chance someone could do me a massive favour? I've designed a stand for one of our clients, Speed Religion, and I'd like to get some decent shots of it. Was planning to head down with my DSLR on Saturday, but I don't think I can make it now.
Could someone grab some good shots for me? If you're a pro-photographer, I'd be willing to sort you a few ££/pints!
Stand 18260 in Hall 18.
We're up there every day so we'll see what we can get for you as well. We've got our DSLR with us so hopefully some will turn out ok!Could someone grab some good shots for me? If you're a pro-photographer, I'd be willing to sort you a few ££/pints!

As the madness of a organising and preparing the cars started to level, the opportunity to get the final touches neared. Its not always the best job, but someone had to go round and make sure we got a quick finish on the bodywork to ensure eye capturing stuff

I know, but just posting up threads of all the cars we detailed wouldn't have been any where as much fun, so I'm not going too :P
