Unmarked police cars in South-West?

Not sure if this has already been said, but Ive never seen a dealer sticker in the back window or on number plates.

New one for me! Silver Ford Galaxy of all things coming through Derriford into Plymouth yesterday, blues flashing from behind the radiator grill and on the dashboard. Couldn't catch the reg.

On Saturday I was passed by a luv-er-ly dark blue A4 Avant with its concealed lights going, as I was coming off the A417 at the last roundabout on the way towards the Air Balloon. Is it a Gloucestershire car? Not seen it before. But nice

Dark A6 estate is one of Gloucestershires armed response cars, so the A4 may be the same.

Back on topic, M4 J18 yesterday had a silver 5-series estate right up my pipes, me in the slow lane smack on 70. Got the strong impression he was trying to goad me into opening the taps, but know that BMW wouldn't spoil their grilles by putting lights behind them. The stab-vest and walky-talky combo was a bit of giveaway too.

Anway after a bit he got bored and chased some white vans back to Wales.

Also, I was on my way to Bridgewater on the M5 the other day, in pouring rain, and a convoy of four big dark coloured unmarked Volvos went steaming past, with small but very bright flasher units on the roof. Never seen the like before. Each one had three or four occupants inside.

Silver Octavia VRS in the roadworks on Holden Hill by Exeter. 53 plate but couldn't remember number when I got home. He was travelling V fast both sides of Roadworks, but was smack on 40 all the way through them and clearly was looking for people speeding up before national speed limit restarted at end of works. When no-one did he went like a bat out of hell away and (I think) looped on the next exit

recently on A30 in cornwall, passed a silver or grey vw passat or bora no markings but had blue lights flashing on top of roof, not sure if police or fire. Also plod pulling over caravans for random spot checks had a couple of unmarked white skoda 4x4 est's.

Spotted today unmarked BMW 5 series estate. Pulled a white van over just off M32 Bristol

Saw some guy get pulled on the M5 southbound by a red Octavia estate a few weeks back.

Also a dark (charcoal?) M5 saloon westbound at M4 j16 on Monday.

There's a dark Blue Audi A4 estate undercover car in cheltenham.

I know this for definite as it pulled me over while I was walking.
