Could this be barge heaven? It must be up there - four-cam 40-valve all-aluminium 4.2 litre V8 that produces 300 horsepower at 6200 rpm, and 295 lb-ft of torque between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Oh and 0-60 in 6.7secs. Ladies and gentlemen may I present...

Lee, Zagato:
The W8 is very much the essence of what we're looking for here and I must congratulate dear Zaggy, it's subtelty matched only - I'll venture - by the expressions of those who fall by it's unknown sword.
Lee, more good work, keep it up: the 'standard' Audis like this (i.e. neither S nor RS speccies) are equally wonderful and this particular model is very much in the spirit of the W8.
Wafting schnelleraption with a smile and a stab. Genius. Helps make it bearable until the day that KGB agent in No.10 gets booted out.

the more subtle, low key Audi's have that certain something that makes a true Q-car and will slip underneath the stealth-o-meter with ease.
We have one here at the moment in true uber subtle SE guise =>

Thanks
I also have a very apt & short dateless VW plate, but I won't post it up. Looks great in the metal though. Also debadged for added amusement.

I'd only swap it for a 6.0 Phaeton
Nice

Was this the one detailed my Gleam Machine?Yes it was. Rob's a great guy and did a wonderful job. It really was exceptionally shiny after he had finished the paint correction and swissol wax.
I managed to suprise him somewhat. Halfway through his detail I said I had to pop out with my other half. Two hours later we returned from the hospital with my new born baby girl, Lili. One of the fastest labours ever!

The car looks great in the photo's you took, nice surroundings.
This has probably been hoisted before but it's so good I really think someone should buy it for me (in sympathy with my recent passage into the downhill section of life) and frankly if you do, you can keep it chez vous (because I favour twin testicolata) and I'll cover the insurance.
Any takers, you know what to do. The password is Fidelio...
