RE: The PH Driving Challenge
Discussion
Because the sesions are entirely one-on-one and you have exclusive use of the track sessions can normally booked to fit in with your diary. Whilst officially we book about two-three weeks in advance, we can often fit in sessions the next day or even, if you call in the morning, and afternoon slot may be available.
On Friday Chilli-dog took his Noble M400 (on standard fitment Pirelli Corsas) round in 1:23.7 - in second place on the leaderboard.

Thanks for the reply maharg, I'll probably call you if the weather is looking OK during the two weeks I have off at the end of June then because I don't really fancy doing it in the wet with my car. (a Locost BEC)
BTW if you could arrange a seperate leaderboard for sub £10k cars I might have a hope of getting near the top
cheers
Chris

That includes upgraditus costs though Matt
Yep but as my car is an SE 1994 live axle car I would be hard pushed to get more than £7000 so still think I qualify for the sub £10,000 car bracket.

still even with buying and selling stuff from my car on eBay to pay for upgrades I come in at under £10,000 for the car. I can do everything my self though with the exception of engine dyno. The car looked like this when I brought it.

A lot of man hours have gone in to getting the car to it current condition. Your would be shocked how little it has cost to get the car in to its current condition. Good old ebay has paid for so much of the upgrades ie sold 45 carbs for a pound more than throttle bodies cost me and so on.

Ah I get it Matt, the missus reads Pistonheads but hasn't found the receipts tin yet?
Seriously though Im only having a bit of fun, you've done a cracking job with the car not just with the visual overhaul but also its performance by the looks of it! Maybe taking things OT a bit, but have you driven a well sorted IRS Westie to compare against the live setup? My Locost (ie very similar to an early Westie!) is also live and its handling characteristics are quite different from IRS Westies ive driven, a smidge less outright grip but much more predictable on the limit which I prefer overall, so just wondered if a live Westie was similar?

That’s impressive as the Stig did it in 125.0 seconds Rob.
