I've just done Anglesey GP circuit 2.1 miles and there were approx 75 cars there, open pit lane and apart from the first half hour there was no queing. Last time at Brunters there were a damn sight more than 75 and again after the first half hour it was straight out when you wanted. Please try and keep it open pitlane as I hate having to be on a set schedule and having to gulp my hot cup of tea down to ensure I don't miss the allocated 20 min slot wink

Dear all

I am writing on behalf of Guy, who is stuck abroad without communiucation and we unfortunately don't know exactly when he is going to be back. Suffice to say this track day is unlikely to happen. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience or dissapointment. As soon as Guy is back he will be in touch - no doubt to arrange another track day and apologise personally to you all.

I won't be logging on here again so can't answer any further posts.
Tim

With all this interest could we not transfer this over to a trackday company to run. It seems a shame for it not to go ahead with a full list of committed entrants?

BIGTHUNDER were running this track day on behalf of White Rabbit Racing, and are willing to run this as a bigthunder track day if we get enough interest.

@ Mark In Ireland
@ Marcellus

Can you contact me? I have taken over the reigns from Guy for the time being to try to keep this day going and it seems you two might have had a couple of groups signed up for the day.

E-mail me from here or go to The Hutch(White Rabbit Racing's forum and drop me a PM).

Hopefully we can sort something out!

Cheers

GingerTim

Hi Tim,

I'm going to try to contact BigThunder today to see if they will take over the organisation, and will keep everyone informed in due course. Best thing to do is keep checking the 'Hutch' for updates, and I will also try to update this forum too.

Cheers

Big Thunder are now running this track day and it is available to the first 65 drivers who contact us.

If you want to book onto the track day the best way is to email me your name, contact details and the vehicle type, and then send payment as soon as possible to us to secure your place. Payment is by bank transfer or cheque made payable to Big Thunder.

See www.bigthunder.co.uk and click onto the track day link to see further details of the day.

You will all have a great time there. Myself and a fair few others attended their first trackday this year on 4th August. Organisation by Big Thunder was excellent and we all got as much track time as we wanted.

The circuit allows you to give your car a good work out without the worry of hitting anything.

Okay, just spoke with Fay and it looks like they have 11 WRR confirmed,
10 Honda drivers (corporate), 10 individual drivers from previous events and so far from my side, 6 paid up.
So we are looking for another 28 people.
I will push again on the saab sites and stick a message on the volvo performance forum to try and make some numbers up.

This was the original list, can WRR people who have paid up add there names to the other paid up list, just so we know who exactly is coming.
I usually expect a few to pull out when I sort out a meeting but 50 seems rather a lot! frown

Well as of yesterday we have 46 people who have paid, so it looks as if there won't be any delays going onto the circuit. One of the Saab guys has asked for the use of the full back straight to see if 200mph is achievable, this will probably occur after the track is closed...although lunch time would be a better option.
Anyone want to turn up and pay on the day, go for it. See you's all on saturday.
