This is the third time I've been and I was suprised how many cars left in the afternoon, also Russ Swift's show in the Evo seemed shorter than before.

The format of the show seems to be exactly the same as previous years, I think it needs something different each year to make people want to go back.

Also when I left there were two fire engines and an ambulance by the entrance but couldn't see what was going on.

First time i've been - and - i dont think it was trying to be goodwood.
I had a fantastic day giving rides in my Seight for the Sporting Bears - who raise over £4K FOR CHARITY ( HOW MUCH DID GOODWOOD RAISE).
Also managed to get into the final for the exhaust sound off.
Alsohad a ride in a pheononimal Westfield and my mate went out in a Ferrari 430 spyder.
Fantastic day

What queues? Think people who left early probably queued more than the rest of us! lol

Great show today. Some fantastic machinery out there! The GT40 was stunning . . as were most of the final round Best in Show cars!

I think they do probably need to look at adding something for next year, was the exact same format as the last time I attended.

I left late and just as we were leaving as you turn right out of the gaydon centre there were three corvettes parked up and a medic from the heritage centre. As we got closer i could see the black rear end of a corvette down in the ditch on the right hand side. Hope he/she was uninjured but it defiantely wasnt an ideal end to the day!
I saw the the Corvettes, didn't know what had happened though. Thats awful news to hear after such a fantastic day. Anyone know what happened or who it was? Hope nobody got hurt though.

Yep me too had a superb day did rides form 10:30 to 16:00 total 9 which equals £320 for charity.

Great day but a lot of cars missing and fewer people, guess that was the price of fuel and the fear it may be in short supply.

To the Pistonhead I gave a ride too (think its was 350 wedge) wavey

Weather was fine on the day at worst cloudy but with warm and very warm long spells

Sporting Bears Dream Rides raised over £4,000 for a local children's charity (as Dave has already stated smile)

Thanks to Bachi (Harsh) and Nancy for providing their cars despite being busy promoting their new club - www.petrolheadnirvana.com - good luck with that

Russ Swift for autioning his rides and raising more money for us and of course

Dave (firesafetydave) the petrol companies best friend

Tony (scovette) former SCS Car of the Show and available for rides

Julian (mad jules) who I didn't realise comes all the way down from Manchester to regularly support SBDR events thumbup

And as above Paul (viper paul)

These are just the PH drivers (that I know of) the rest of the drivers and helpers are Bears and their friends

Blimey, longer than an OSCAR speech

That's worrying - a friend of mine was there in a black 'vette.
