Im amazed that this was announced to her live on TV - which does bring in a question to my mind why? Was it the TV show who had lost all their morals in one go & the fact your health is private?

If this is genuine I hope she has a full recovery.

If this is a scam like that shown in Hollyoaks with the child who had cancer (but in reality never had it) then I wonder what would happen.
I don't think even SHE would stoop that low.

Surely?
I dont think anyone would/hope noone would as all it does is mock those who are seriously ill.

I wouldnt wish cancer on my worst enemy.

i have seen the effects close hand, and a few friends have suffered with it.

Furthermore, all 4 of my grandparents eventually cuccumbed to its effects.

None of the above was ever told on TV though, and the cynic in me thinks it may be a sympathy vote to get her back in the public eye.

I really hope its not, that would be lower than Whale st.

Hope it all turns out ok, but it seems a little strange they would break such news on telly.

Actually, I'm hoping she makes a full recovery.

Because when she has to face something so serious and potentially life-threatening as cancer, maybe she'll re-evaluate her priorities.

I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, but there is no ignoring the fact that she is a nonentity who is famous for all the wrong reasons, who makes obscene amounts of money doing nothing of merit or worth, and who makes for a dreadful role model for young people who might be in danger of falling off the rails in terms of thinking of a career. Realising she's a mere mortal might curb her excesses.

Sadly I think her management might insist on a book and a volley of TV appearences.
She's scum and much like Jordan, there isn't any aspect of her life she won't exploit for money - doubtless her miraculous recovery from this bout of cancer will be timed nicely with a Kylie-esque money-making return to the public eye exploitation moment.

She never ceases to amaze me though.
And stop calling me Shirley.

Its a non-news story... and yet PHs manages, at time of writing, to get 4 pages on it.

Congratulations on over-stepping the mark.

There are some things you just do not wish on your worst enemy...
You're joking, I'd really enjoy watching her demise & then dancing on her grave! I know thats sounds a bit over the top but it's true & it's how I feel.

I hope if it's true she makes a recovery. Not a fan of anything BB wise. But if it is a publicity stunt then very poor show.

Tomorrow my mum is heading back into hospital after something was found on her lung after a CAT scan. I am not looking forward to the results. Would not wish it on anyone.

How ironic that people calling her thick haven't the intelligence to read the story carefully before pronouncing judgement....

No disrespects to you Benny but if you're that angry and bitter maybe it affected the way she treated you and vice versa. Like I say no disrespect it's just 'hate breeds hate' and can bring you down as a person. wink

I wouldnt wish it on anyone either - horrible thing Cancer. Have had relatives and friends who have had it, thankfully most have pulled through.

I just don't care that she has it, or about her. I don't know her, nor do I wish to.

I would feel empathy for someone on here that I have conversed with having cancer, as they are part of a large community here. I would feel deep sympathy for a friend of family relative. Some random television idiot, I don't feel anything at all.

Same as I think about random outpouring of public grief - Princess Diana being a prime candidate. Sad that she died and all but I just don't care. Not my business.

I am sure there will be a hopefully VERY few people that ghoul around in public saying how upset they are that she has cancer... rolleyes

Indeed it seemed very harsh telling her on TV. Hope she recovers well though, must be awful to be put through that.
.....and you don't think perhaps she might have known for some time and that Mr Clifford suggested that having it announced on BB live might not be bad for her public profile?

I look forward to the tabloid serialisation of "Jade Goodie my battle with Cancer", I suspect the ghost writer has already been hired.
I had a meeting with Mr Clifford this morning and can assure you that he's not involved..... yet!

He was on the news earlier, denying it was a scam

Who would lie about such a thing? Not even Jade Goody would pull off a stunt like that - it would be career-suicide for her.

Don't forget that he does a lot of 'invited' TV work for the benefit of Max Clifford Associates and not a specific client. If he's asked for a comment, it's not always because he's involved.

That said, he may well be involved and didn't want me to know this morning... difficult bloke to read sometimes and I've been working with him for years!
