He was building Hotrods and Streetrods... both of these are STYLES of vehicle and as such many of them are bound to be similar. In amongst those were some legendary cars that were "differenty".

Seems like those two other tossers are just knocking him for the hell of it.

I just dont get why there's so many people knocking the guy's originality, or what they saw on TV..... he had a dream job that I guess any of you would have given your left nut to have.

I met Boyd too. It seems all of the negative comments are based to a TV SHOW!!!!, (rating, entertainment, money and all that). If you knew anything about what he did over the years, the different cars he built, along with the skill he had, i guess you might have a different opinion.

He was a goodman and looked after his staff and his community. His company helpd me too with advice, wheel choices etc. while setting up my own Custom 'shop

I,ve met Foose too. you would not believe his inflated ego and air of self importance. He owes his career to Boyd.

Boyd will be sadly missed.

The Ultima corner of PH tends to be filled with people who are interetsed in cars.... there's other sections (Pie and Piston and general Gassing) that cater to people that like to have their name up in lights...... a quick check of people's recent posts gives and indication of which category they fall in....

If I had my way I'd delete the P+P and GG sections altogether, along with all the people who post there .... the name of this site if PISTONHEADS ....not "I dont have a life outside of the net"... as far as I am concerned Marki and all of his ilk should be banned...... Marki had been sin-binned 3 times and warned about winding people up - yet he continued, so got banned.

Those who retaliated on here (though I still don't believe there was any 'actual' threat intended), have likewise been warned and must abide by the rules of posting, otherwise they will go the same way.

If I'd have got to the thread earlier, then I would have tried to unruffle the feathers before it got to this state. But there you go.

Trying to stir the argument up again on here achieves nothing - which I believe was the point of the 'let it rest' comment.
