Whilst its great for spotting cars, I cant help but think there are a lot of very sad b@stards around if all they do all day is drive round and round Harrods in circles.
I'd like to be a sad b@stard if it means I get to own a Lambo.SleeperCell said:

White wheels are fine on vintage/classic American cars or on Japanses racers.
oriental? sure it wan't jay kay - his is black
was in london over the weekend. tigerkoi's mint mk1 capri spot seems to live a few streets away from my OH. i saw it and she told me how she'd seen it parked there a lot and she really like it!
my parents were also in town and i met up with them at their hotel [hyatt, portman sq.]. parked up in outside the foyer was a CGT, a white murcielago, a black porsche gt2 and a maybach
what was truly rare is that the CGT was dirty and looked like it had been driven properly - plenty of dead flies attached and dirt straking from the 'arches!
the murci was either tuned or was monogrammed, as it had FRV or similar on the rear end.
no pics sorry, but my dad was all over them as we got out of the taxi. all on arabic plates of course, but it was clear when i bought a round in the hotel that you'd need oil money at those prices
PS - also in the parking garage on crawford place was a classic 911 in full rally livery. very nice

I dont think it's Jay Kays, apparently his plate is V17 JET and this one was NI NVN (or similar)was in london over the weekend. tigerkoi's mint mk1 capri spot seems to live a few streets away from my OH. i saw it and she told me how she'd seen it parked there a lot and she really like it!

Was that Carrera GT in the Hyatt a red one? That's always there, I have a photograph of it somewhere from a year or two ago. There's a street just near there where one of those supercar clubs is based, usually has some interesting exotica in the window or nearby, I've seen F40, SLR722, Enzo, Ford GT etc there before.
Hey kees - yeah i can understand that. Like just now, I noticed the post count had gone to 940, now back to 939 - should be 940 with mine......weird
Bjoern - hmmm, well if you read the thread from the beginning you will see Zondas. However, I haven't noticed any on Arabic plates in the past few weeks. Therefore I suggest two reasons:
1) I, and the others have just missed it/them....
2) Amongst the Arab gang they just aren't flavour of the month at the moment.
I suspect the latter. For whatever reason the 599, Murcielago, SLR and Phantoms are the key wheels this year for the guys....
Hey now I remember what post is missing! It had a line of four supercars (Enzo or F40 at the back I think), taken round Berkeley Sq possibly....why did it go?

I saw a 997 yesterday badged as a Turbo S, it had all the normal 'Turbo' kit (wheels, bodykit etc) but it had quad pipes. Thing is, is there even a 997 Turbo S, because I had no idea that there was one, so maybe the guy rebadged it. I would have taken a picture, but my trusty LG phone decided it was out of battery.
Anyone shed any light on this?

I've only ever seen a 993 Turbo S (captured in thread ages ago). Hold on, let me get one of my Porsche mags...........
Haven't heard of a 997 Turbo S.........
I had the same thoughts...so couldn't resist some quick research.Haven't heard of a 997 Turbo S.........
964 Turbo S was a 1990 version of the 964 Turbo which boosted power from 320hp to 355hp (or optional 381hp).
993 Turbo S was a 1997 limited edition (200 examples) version of the 993TT which boosted the power from 400hp to 424hp and incorporated some bodywork changes.
996 Turbo S was the European name for the initially US-market only X50 package which boosted the power from 415hp to 450hp. Later on the Turbo S name was also used in the US.
997 Turbo S doesn't seem to exist (yet)

In terms of Carrera GT's the Jumeriah at the moment has a yellow, red, white and the Gemballa mirage one which is black/sparkly gold. It's whoever gets a space first outside!
There was a 996 turbo S main difference was ceramic brakes, yellow callipers and as mentioned bigger turbos which the regular turbo could have called the X50 pack. There are so many fake badged turbos in London, who even when confronted claim it's an S. Like there is anything wrong with having a regular turbo?
I can confirm that there is no 997 Turbo S at the moment
