Depart Waddington 17.45 to display at Cowes 19.00 via Northampton and Newbury.

I know she didn't go but that flight time is amazing.
One and quarter hours from Lincolnshire to Cowes, they obviously weren't planning on hanging about.

although I'm led to believe that she'll only be at Shoreham on the Saturday.

Ooo, a Vulcan. Never saw it fly, but relatives of mine say it is a sight to behold. Also, did you know that at 30,000 feet it can out manouveure an F-15 Eagle? Not bad eh?

Flew over here (Knaresborough, North Yorkshire) about an hour ago, and back in the other direction just now.

The funeral of one of the workers who helped restore her was this afternoon in Yorkshire somewhere and 558 did a flypast.

Thanks! I was beginning to wonder if we really had seen it (though of course it's pretty distinctive!).
Appeared to be flying very slowly too.

Do you know if it is displaying both days, and is it staying overnight at EGHH? Our house is on the red arrows glidepath when landing here, they fly right over the roof. Not commercial aircraft, just them for some reason, they seem to have their own approach. Would be great to see a Vulcan over the house.. I'm even buying a scanner for advance warning, as I am indeed sad like that.

She's only scheduled for Saturday at Bournemouth.

My wedding anniversary, so I've suggested to the Mrs that we have a little trip to the seaside.

"Ooh lok dear, there seems to be some sort of airshow on! Do you mind if we stay and watch for a while?"
