Hi I'm new to this site,
I recently bought this car, the mercedes A class 15 plate in SOUTH SEA BLUE.
At first I really liked the colour and thought it was a bit different. I got a mixed reception from all my friends, family and associates.
Some LOVED it, some liked it , some thought it was ok and some really disliked it.
I've had it for a couple of months now and my mind keeps changing on it, I try and not take any notice from any ones opinions. Sometimes I think its a bit girly and too bright , some days I think its shiny and 'sexy'. If i could go back in time however I would go for the mountain grey, or maybe even in black.
I was wondering what all your opinion was on the car? Honest opinions only please!!
I was considering wrapping it until i discovered the costs. My only real option is to sell it for the price i bought it and buy the car in a different colour but that seems like a lot of hastle.
I like the colour i'm clearly just unsure of it, which annoys me considering how much i pay for it. Some of my friends say i'm overthinking. lol
let me know what you think
(its a google image but mines exactly the same with black wingmirrors)

Nothing wrong with it, makes a change from grey, silver and black.
If you like it then keep it.

If given the choice between the same car in a different colour, and the same colour on a different car, I don't think I'd be looking too hard at the rest of the A-class paint swatches.

That's not to say the colour excites me, though...

Nice. As said, makes a change from the dull greys and silvers.

It's a bit sudden for the larger cars but acceptable on smaller. There was a CLS in this colour when I was looking for mine and it really doesn't work.
Generally the smaller the car the cheekier the acceptable colour range IMHO. So much more fun than resale silver, boring black and washroom white,

regards,
Jet

I used to have a first generation SLK in a similar colour called "Lazulite Blue". It was quite a head turning colour especially in the summer.

It was like this.

I really like that colour.

I'm amazed that you care what anyone else thinks though.

Why do you care what I think?
It's your car that you chose because you liked it. That's all that matters.

It's a nice colour, OP. Why anyone could thing it's a "bad" colour is beyond me.

Better feedback then expected. I was having an insecure moment when I wrote this. Thanks for your input everyone you've stopped me from wanting to waste my money on wrapping this blue beauty
