Hi All,

As the Lambo 50th trip is only 9 weeks away, I thought I'd start a post to see who else is going & what routes & hotels people have booked to see if there's a chance of meeting up? ... maybe there's some of you yet to book?... so use this thread to see if you want to hook-up at some stage of the trip?

Lets try to keep the thread to...
"Who's Booked & going on which package?"
"What's your route & accommodation plan?"
"Where could we get chance to meet?"

Having chatted to a few of you thought I'd better get my own act together & start looking at Routes & booking Hotels etc. (surprisingly few rooms left at some of the places we checked out)

We've booked the 'A' package, so the 7th to 11th is taken care of. Therefore we need to be in Milan @ midday on the 7th.

We intend to depart Sun 5th - Eurotunnel 10:20 departure.
Drive to Verdun, intending to stay at Hostellerie du Château des Monthairons in Verdun first night, and then heading through the Mont Blanc Tunnel heading onto Lake Geneva 2nd night, stopping at the Best Western Eurotel Riviera in Montreaux. Then a short hop to Milan on the Tuesday.

Coming back... set off Sunday am, heading to Bormio, to do the Stelvio Pass, then onto Davos for Sunday night 12th. Monday head towards Nancy/Metz for an overnight stay, and then Tuesday to Calais. Booked Eurotunnel crossing for 16:20.

Anyone else got anything booked?driving

Others may find it useful to post your intentions (assuming you want others to know your plans)

Just thought a chance of a hook-up at some stage would be nice.tongue out

sounds a good plan, however from memory the Stelvio doesn't usualy open until 1st June.

We turned up to it at the end of may 2 years ago just to find it still shut. However managed to find some great alternatives.

We too hae done trips to Italy and back in May, and quite a few of the passes have still been closed.

And in case you've not been there before, here's a quick taster of what to expect at Chateau Monthairons.

The tunnel out of Livigno is fantastic, make sure to time it right to be the first car at the lights, and therefore the first one through the single file low tunnel, its fantastic.

DIW35.. you could have had that concrete planter moved out of the way.. or got the hotel to have ramps available to rise your car up 2 feet for the photo shot! (Brilliant pic by the way!)bow

I'm taking a group (currently 8 cars booked) with Lamborghini London.

Sunday 5th May:
Meet at M20 J11, 3 miles from Eurotunnel Folkestone, at 10am on the Sunday morning (11:20 train).
Drive to Reims for a photo stop at the old Grand Prix grandstand, then on towards Troyes.
Riverside hotel with excellent food.

Monday 6th May:
Head for Annecy with around 5 hours scenic driving.
Lakeside hotel with excellent food.

Tuesday 7th May:
Out on the hills from Lake Annecy, over to Mont Blanc tunnel, then quick run to Milan in time for lunch.
