Just been contacted by another member about my Airbox brackets and about getting some more made up.

They are stainless steel, finish is optional, polished, normal, even powder coated, if you let me know what colour etc.

I'm going to adjust the drawing slightly to improve them having had mine fitted for a while now, and know what needs to be done.

Bolts will be included with the price, although i won't know about that until i have some numbers to work with.

Thanks for the drawing, just sent it to a laser cutter.......only joking, they look great.

I'll have a pair, if you get enough numbers to do it.

Sorry, bottled out of 2 pairs after realising that :-
1) they can't be seen
2) they are a different pattern (Throttle cable stop)

Hmm, good point about 2 pair. In for a penny etc smile

May as well ask about prices. Normal or yellow powder coated?

They look nice. How much for a pair of them then?

I'm going to look at getting the rears also so will be the two front. Plus the air box bracket passenger side, throttle cable/air box drivers side. Price is dependent on how many. More orders means cheaper. Will take off my rear ones tomorrow and measure them for a drawing.

I have now had a price back from the laser cutters, and can do them for £55 a pair(thats just the front pair), that's including postage, and a set of stainless bolts, and finished how ever you want.

please email me pmessling@blueyonder.co.uk and payment arrangements can be made and get the ball rolling in having them made.

Bit late on this, can I get a pair?

And did you get the back ones sorted out?

Other than my prototype pair I never got any more made as the laser cutter I used stopped being helpful and stopped replying to emails.

I can search out a new laser cutter if people still want them

Did this ever happen Peter? One of my brackets (rear - the throttle cable one) is cracked and they're all a bit scabby looking.

No sorry. The laser cutters were being arses. So gave up with them.

I need to contact another company and get a price from them before any more movement on these. Plus doing a drawing for the rear pair.

I'm hoping to do a couple of jobs tomorrow on my cerb so will take the brackets off and do the drawings for them, see if I can improve upon them as I know I would like some adjustment on the air boxes.

This was something I can get made in Aluminium.... if this has stalled?

I've just posted another thread on engine bay ideas.

Let me know - and I can organise based on numbers

The problem with Alu in this area is that may end up cracking unless machined from solid and unless anodised will corrode

Both can be done - i would probably anodise. Milling a little bit overkill.
