Guys

Just wanted to share what a great experience I had this morning from these guys, having started the 'Poverty Pork' thread you'll possibly be aware that I own Bluebell my 1998 2.5 Boxster ....

Well a few weeks ago and just a couple of days befor my wedding my Boxster chop went a bit wrong, guess i dont know my own strength .... End result a cracked back plastic window ... Grrrr

So after some research I did some investigating and had a phone around and the level of engagement and interest as well as the quotes I was given ranged from reasonable to ridiculous for both a plastic windo swop out or my preferred option, upgrade to a glass windowed hood (as recommended by many here) ....

Long story short, from my initial call to now Car Hood Warehouse have been professional, open, honest, knowledgable and accomodating and this morning whilst i sat in their customer area on Wi-Fi working they replaced my hood, Tyrone the fitter then took the time to talk me through what they had done, how to look after it, common problems that could arise in any hood of that age, explained that should those things happen, they should be my first port of call as most cable / motor failures are not expensive fixes and they could sort them, he then double checked everything, made sure i was happy with the work and only then did he wheel out Tina to come and take my money.

They are an impressive outfit witha busy workshop and as well as my car they had an S2000 and Z3 in being worked on and again, the amount of care they were taking was noticable, you can see the workshop area through a glass panel and its nice to see the care they take.

If anyone needs a hood replaced or repaired, i'd recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

Prior to this event i had no knowledge of this company and this is just my way of saying thank you for a great job at a fair price and to let others know they are out there if you need them.

When you get a chance see if you can access the engine ok. I hear the glass conversions are tight on getting access.
