Bargain 940 Turbo Wagon - interesting history...

Picked this up yesterday. It is a 1993 Volvo 940SE Turbo, 4spd Manual +OD (Broken), lowered, pimp tints on the back, and squidgy armchair cloth seats.


Was owned from nearly new I think by a funeral home in Kent, who seemingly used it to transport fresh deads, as there were a load of bodybag tags in the glovebox and a can of sanitiser spray in the glovebox which the guy I bought it off found.

Goes like a missile and is a suprisingly good steer with a million turns to lock but nice feedback. It only has 185 section tyres on it as well so should be interesting on wet roundabouts!

Bit of a thing for oldish Volvos, though the 240's are my favourite looking albeit not all that visually different. This looks like it should be fun

Funnily enough my V70 was owned by a 85 year old funeral director before me. The driver side buttons are suspiciously sticky and melted as if some sort of chemical has been put on them! Could be the sanitiser.

This car is ridiculously good fun. Ordering a mbc and a boost gauge as we speak, google tells me it should be fine up to 10-11 psi from the current 4.

I think they all do that. The rubber just crumbles over time.
