http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-TVR-CERBERA-BLACK_W0QQi...

she is from 2000 and according to the pictures, must be a RR, from 2000.
so very likely engine had been rebuild.

but anyway now broke again.

do you know this cerb or do you have some extra info on the problems she has?

thx

I think that used to belong to a chap that used to post on here, I forgotten his name ! It will come to me!
If it is his old one....
He took it to Power back in 2002 ish and got a RR conversion done.
Then it was for sale for quite some time (in 06 / 07?) by some chap who had a white van.
The front end has had some work - at least blended light conversion.
I am suspicious of such adverts. The car looks great, the purple pipes are even new but I find it hard to believe it is something very simple or why would he sell it as is.

but o be honest i see some rust under the F1 as well...
that actually suprises me.

guess the reality is less simple and cheap

Danny Luhde-Thompsons one? Owned by a builder/roofer then a doctor soon after? Not entirely sure. Either that, or this is Martin Redwoods old car? ex-X50CET? Apologies if I get names wrong, but I think those two had 2000 cars that were converted to RR's - I think Martins may have been an RR from the factory though. Both are members on here still as far as I am aware?

Could be danny's old car, he had the first retro-fit red rose conversion done, not because there was anything wrong but because he wanted the extra power lol! I can't recall the exact details of his car but it was very dark/black and had nitron ntx (the early nitron) dampers. It also had an alpine flip up front stereo with sat nav and TV built in. It was sold to another guy on PH but his name escapes me for a moment. I serviced the car for both danny and the subsequent owner but havent seen it for maybe 5 years or so. Then again it could be another completely different car. I think the owner after danny was a doctor, I remember collecting the car once from a hospital car park if my memory serves me right ..

ive sent a message to the ebayer asking if he knows the previous owners. if it is danny's car then it used to be a lovely example .. though you dont know whats happened to it since of course. I'll let you know what the ebayer says.

thing is that he problem that he discribed in the add does not sounds like a big and costly problem.
ok, he did not find the time but even if you ask your serives guys to fix it... he could sell it for way more then now...
or am i wrong?

yes that was a stunning cerb, the dark windows and gorgeous wheels really set it off beautifully .. I bumped into a previous owner (dave morgan) of that car at croft, he's since moved on to a rather tasty Ultima smile

I reckon between my pointless knowledge of Cerbera owners/general information and Joo's unrivalled technical Cerbera knowledge, we could write a book on the whole cars development and its scene over the past ten years or so. thumbup

The headlights make me think is it DLT's old car. They were a slightly different conversion, and the stereo looks like the alpine flip.
