Hi guys.

Got the head unit today and getting everything set up.

Just come in to get some info.

I need a permanent live in order to active the DVD mode, i know its supposed to connect to the parking brake.

I found this connector which i think is plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Haven't got a tester on me but any idea which wire i could slice in order to get a permanent live?

TIA

There's already a permanent live to the unit, as it's needed to store the radio stations.

no need to splice..

as you have the dash open look and you will see an un used connector under the ashtry / storage component that will give you the live you need wink

I'd agree with ferret's post. When I had my Parrot kit fitted, the chap told me that I had a permanent live behind the dash which I could use to hardwire in a sat nav or something similar down the line if I wanted.
